Author Salons

Public conversations with authors — free, welcoming, and rooted in community.

Author Salons are public, in-person conversations that bring authors and readers together around ideas, stories, and the creative process.

Presented by Redmond Literary Arts, and co-created in partnership with the Redmond Library, these salons feature authors in thoughtful conversation, followed by audience Q&A. They are designed to be accessible, welcoming, and intellectually rich — open to readers, writers, and anyone curious about books and ideas.

Inspired by the long tradition of literary salons, and reimagined for modern Redmond, Author Salons offer a way for literary arts to live and breathe in our city — not as one-off events, but as part of our shared cultural life.

All Author Salons are free and open to the public, reflecting our shared commitment to access, lifelong learning, and community connection.
