Join Redmond Literary Arts and the Redmond Library for an Author Salon — a public, in-person conversation designed to bring authors and readers together around ideas, stories, and the creative process.
This inaugural Author Salon features Ronit Plank, acclaimed author of When She Comes Back, a memoir about the loss of her mother to the guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and their eventual reconciliation.
Ronit will be in conversation with Redmond Literary Arts founder Jenny Lisk. Together, they’ll discuss Ronit’s memoir and personal story, the creative and emotional process behind writing nonfiction, and the courage it takes to tell deeply personal stories — as well as the role of literary community in sustaining a writing life.
Inspired by the tradition of literary salons and reimagined for today’s Redmond, Author Salons feature authors in thoughtful conversation, followed by audience Q&A. These events are welcoming, accessible, and free — open to readers, writers, and anyone curious about books and ideas.
Free and open to the public, in partnership with the Redmond Library.
